However, while most of this site focuses on serious matters, this portal is different, it is the Electronic Village of human oddities and humour. You will find the humourous stories collected here are chosen for laugh meter rating, so, this is not a joke page based in quantity but belly laugh quality.
Somehow many expect spiritual people to be packaged in a purity stereotype. This is a preconceived notion that to be deeply spiritual is to be celibate, refrain from risqué conversational topics and frown in a righteous way on adult humour, etc., or those that tell such stories. Not SO! Spirituality means a deep belief in God, and a caring reverence for life and everything in it, with all choices for reality made in positive balance but it does not equate to, no-fun, or closing an eye to human foibles, sexuality, or mature themes of conversation. Humour is clearly not reality nor is it ever meant to be reality, so, this section is to dispel this notion and honour humour, regardless of topic, as the only energy that passes unchanged from this dimension to the next.
The best humour is always an unexpected look at life; twists of normal thinking on any topic and no topic is such a sacred cow that we can not afford to laugh at ourselves or the way we think. As result, here you may find humour poked at anything humans are, do or believe and it is done without malice simply for the chuckle at the oddity of being human.
