Today, Richard has come from his background as a reasonably skeptical-analytical person to acknowledge he is now still a skeptical-analytical person but one who has had his belief systems pried open, by Spirit, with a crowbar. He maintains that skeptical is the most wonderful human condition because this does not mean closed. For some this may mean a closed, negative and argumentative stance to any and all things, however, skeptical truly means, "not willing to be led but willing to listen" and draw your own conclusions. This is the appropriate awakening path to self-empowerment. So it is in this age of change, that skeptics are the most amazing Souls because when they come through their own profound personal experiences, they are also the ones who will stand strongly to be counted and follow what their heart's wisdom knows to be true.

This is the orientation posed in Richard's writing, in a very open ended style. He does not desire anyone to blindly follow him or anyone else. He is just sharing the understanding of humanity that Spirit has provided in channel. The purpose is not meant to educate as much as it is to awaken that which is dormant within. Those who are ready will easily recognize the truth that is already inside them like a forgotten memory. For some his writing has been a confirmation of what they have already felt true, for others, it is the fast track through linear time to get past the early basic understandings to where they internally know they need to be.

Much has changed since Richard's own awakening journey. With the flow of wisdom from Spirit he has completely changed the focus of his life over several years. Now as a healer, Richard has founded a very successful new philosophy and different strategy for human health and healing, that in a very grounded way, bridges the gap between standard and complementary therapies. Leaving behind a career in communication and design, he now writes and practices counseling for thoughtful-health and healing as a Bio-Energy Therapist full time. In his words, "There is just no better gratification than being the catalyst for releasing someone's pain." Richard is currently writing a textbook and two books of resource in order to teach other practitioners of Bio-Energy Therapy.

As a wide awake channel, Richard not only channels Spirit in a different way than you might expect but he also writes for Spirit in a very different way as well. With the responsibility of interpretation and his analytical process, his writing rarely sounds as though it is a message in word from Spirit but has a very grounded flavour describing the profound understandings of things provided. It is a facilitation of transformational process geared to those that may not be as open to it as their neighbour. By his own intent, he does not act as a medium to contact family members or provide insight to premonition unless it is spontaneously part of a healing session with healing as the outcome. As a facilitator his focus is on providing the grounded skeptic's view of past, current and future process that will aid most people to find, understand and adjust to the New World around them. This may seem an odd statement for some, but there will be so much recognition of this to come, as time passes.
